2019 Nocturn: Toronto's PATH System

The PATH is a network of underground pedestrian tunnels, elevated walkways, and at-grade walkways connecting the office towers of Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It connects more than 70 buildings via 30 kilometres (19 mi) of tunnels, walkways, and shopping areas.

There were approximately 1200 stores and services. However, since the implementation of government mandated COVID rules, many of these business and services no longer exist.

In an eerie manner, these photographs that were taken in the evening, which were devoid of the typical activity that the underground city sees during the day, have come to represent many areas that are now like a ghost-town as a result of the stay at home measures.
